Belt(driving belt): a belt used to transmit mechanical power. It includes lat belt and V belt. It is made of rubber and reinforcing material (such as cotton canvas, rayon, synthetic fiber and steel wire etc). It is produced with multiple rubber canvas, synthetic fiber, cord thread and steel wire as tensile layer. Covered with rubber then molded and sulphurized. Compared to gear drive and chain drive, belt drive is simple and with low noise and low cost. It is used extensively in power transmission of all kinds of machines. Driving belt which is looped on the two belt-drive wheels is used in producing leather or linear rubber. It is usually named as belt.
